“ Loved our experience here! I was impressed at how clean it was. There were 16 adorable cats but there was zero smell. My girls and I had a great time playing with the kitties and eating our snacks. I love the idea that cats who need a home stay in this lovely environment instead of a cage at the animal shelter. They all seemed happy and well taken care of. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable on each cat there. Maybe next time we go we will adopt one of the cuties! ”

“ We had an amazing experience at Pounce Cat Cafe, and the Team at Pounce were wonderful! There should be more places like this everywhere. I purchased the date night package which includes drinks and snacks while we interact and play with the kitties. The hubby and I got there and didn't know what to expect, we just knew we wanted to add a fur baby to our family. We were quite surprised and happy that we were chosen by a little girl and we couldn't say no to her. We filled out the application and we get to give her a forever home. I would definitely recommend a cat cafe if you are thinking of growing your family. ”
“ We have been to a few of these around the country. Great idea and amazing effort to get more cats populated with people and out of the cage of a shelter. They have a fun area to experience the cats with offerings for beverages and light snacks. The coffee and teas are good and sitting area open and well lit. They have a high adoption rate of over 1 adoption per day. Loved seeing 2 adoptions today when we visited. Great effort to the team and such a worthwhile cause. ”

“ Pounce cafe was delightful. If you’re looking for a relaxing little break in your day exploring charleston, or if you’re looking for a cat to adopt, check out Pounce Cafe. Every person in there was just happy and relaxed and smiling the entire time. If you’re looking to adopt, this is a great option. Even in just an hour you can really get to know the temperament and personality of some of the cats. Some are more snuggly, others more playful, and of course there are some that are a bit more spicy. They partner with local shelters, and the people there are amazing to talk to about each cat, and how long they’ve been there and what they’re like. We actually ended up going in twice during our stay in Charleston, and the second time decided to go with the ‘Cat Whisperer’ package. If you really want to make sure you get a few cats interacting with you, or in your lap, then they give you a little bit of treats and catnip. It’s still a great time without it, and there are toys and things all around to play with for everyone to use. Be careful though, it’s gonna be hard to leave without wanting to bring one home with you. ”

It was a very enjoyable experience and highly recommend it to all those cat lovers out there. Be sure to make a reservation online before stoping by! And the retail items are adorable. ”
“ During my 1st visit, I included the package with catnip and a toy. Worth it! Last night, I attended Drag Bingo hosted by Patti O’Furniture. Patti was the perfect host because it’s clear she is passionate about her platform to help others while having a good time. Not only is the cafe a safe haven for adoptable cats, but it is fun, the staff is friendly, and they make a difference in our community. Be sure to make a reservation or you’ll walk by and wish you were inside! I’m so glad something like this exists in CHS! ”
